True Elements

True Elements is a Pune breakfast and snack food brand run by brothers-in-law Puru Gupta (CEO) and Sreejith Moolayil (COO). They first ran an aggregator of healthy food brands, then a corporate wellness business, before launching True Elements in 2017.

The range covers rolled and steel cut oats, muesli, granola, seeds such as chia, pumpkin and flax, seed and trail mixes, dry fruits, millets and snacks. The brand moved from private label to making all of its own products in 2018, at a factory in Pune that The Better India says turns out over seven lakh products a month.

Marico bought about 54% of the company in May 2022. The brand lists full ingredients on its packs and says buyers can trace an ingredient's journey on its website using the product name and batch number.

In May 2024 The Better India reported that True Elements was present on 50 e-commerce channels and in 12,000 outlets, and sold about seven lakh products a month.
