The Anveshan story
Anveshan is a Bengaluru food brand founded in 2020 by Kuldeep Parewa, Akhil Kansal and Aayushi Khandelwal. It sells A2 bilona ghee, cold-pressed oils, raw honey and atta, and works with a network of rural producers across India.
The founders say they left their jobs, went back to villages and set up their own small processing units with farmers. The brand says it uses native seeds and indigenous cattle breeds, and that each batch is made in small rural units run by farmer families.
The brand says its oils are cold-pressed below 40°C and its ghee is made by the bilona method, which it describes as a 30-hour process. It says it works with over 7,000 farmers and runs more than 17 tests on each batch at third-party labs.
In 2026 Anveshan raised ₹150 crore in a Series B round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India. The company reported an annual revenue run rate of ₹280 to 300 crore at the time.
