The MOM (Meal of the Moment) and Gimi Gimi story

MOM (Meal of the Moment) is a range of dehydrated instant meals and snacks made by Alimento Agro Foods Private Limited. The meals include dishes such as veg biryani, upma, pongal and pav bhaji, and the range also covers roasted makhana.

The company says its products are made on a mechanised production line in Kota, Rajasthan, covering grinding, processing, packaging and labelling, and that it relies on dehydration rather than added preservatives.

Alimento was founded by Prateek Bhagchandka and Mugdha Bhagchandka. Its second brand, Gimi Gimi, sells Korean-style noodles aimed at Indian consumers.

In December 2025 the company raised Rs 52 crore in a Series A led by IvyCap Ventures. It said the money would go to manufacturing capacity, distribution across India and new products for both brands.
