The ZOFF Foods story
ZOFF Foods, run through Asquare Food & Beverages Pvt Ltd, was started in Raipur in 2018 by brothers Akash and Ashish Agrawal, who call themselves the Spice Brothers. It sells whole, powdered and blended spices, dry fruits, and 5 minute gravy and marinade mixes.
The company says it runs a fully automated manufacturing unit in Raipur that uses cold grinding to keep the flavour and aroma of the spices, and packs them in multi-layered zip-lock packs.
ZOFF says its products are sold on major e-commerce sites and in over 10,000 retail stores across India, and that 60% of its factory staff are women. It reports revenue of ₹80 crore in 2023 and projects ₹180 crore for 2026.
After funding from boAt co-founder Aman Gupta on Shark Tank India season 2, ZOFF raised ₹40 crore in a Series A from JM Financial Private Equity in August 2024. It said the money would go into new segments such as ready-to-cook, condiments, cooking pastes and seasoning kits, and into general and modern trade distribution.
