The Snackible story
Snackible is a Mumbai snack brand run by LightSaber Food Ventures and founded by Aditya Sanghavi. The brand says it started in 2015 to remake everyday snacks with different ingredients and flavours, and says it uses no palm oil.
In 2017 the company said its food technologists develop the recipes, while manufacturing is outsourced to eight contract manufacturers. Orders were shipped from a central warehouse in Mumbai, and retail stores made up about 40% of sales, institutional partners 30%, its own online channel 20% and marketplaces 10%.
By 2018 its products were on shelves in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru, including Godrej Nature's Basket, Foodhall and Le Marche, alongside online sales. The current range runs from chickpea popped chips, vegetable chips and baked bhujia to jowar puffs, chikki, cookies, dips and nut spreads.
